Leaving To Mexico

I got a last minute ticket to mexico. Im leaving tommorow. Im so so excited. I can't wait. Im not coming back til the 19. I wish you all a very merry christmas. I will try to keep in touch from Mexico. Im just so excited to see my family. I can't wait. My flight leaves at 11:00 am and gets to Guadalajara at 4:45 pm. See you guys soon

Classes

So im all registered for my class. Im so excited and nervous at the same time. Im taking a Volumen 2 History class at the CSN campus in Mesquite. I love history. Its my favorite subject. I hope the class is no to hard. Im just used to the highschool classes. Wish me luck

Christmas Is Coming

So for christmas im going to mexico. Im super so excited!!!! As a kid when i thought of christmas, i thought of getting presents. Now that i got older presents don't even matter to me. Christmas in mexico is very different. No one worries about presents. They only worry about being together as a family. I have had 3 christmases in mexico and its the best feeling in the world. I remember my first christmas it was weird but then i thought about it and i realized the whole non presents things and it didn't matter to me. I was just excited that i got to be with my family

Thoughts

So i really dont know when they will re-open the casino so im going to try and look for a job but in the mean time i decided its the perfect time to go back to school. I have my millenium scholarship that i need to use. So i am going to take courses and CSN here in mesquite. Just a couple classes at night. I figured why not. I need to go back to school. So tommorow i am waking up early and going over to CSN to get registered. Wish me luck

1st day of Unemployment

So this morning i got up really early to go to Human Resources. Everyone that got laid off had to go and pick up their last check and turn in their uniforms. The lines were huge!!!!!! I totally forgot to bring a jacket so my lovely mother brought me one. I got to see all of my old co workers which was neat. After that 6 of my co-workers and I decided to go to playoffs and have breakfast. It felt like i hadn't seen them forever. So it was nice to catch up. When i got home i got online and filed my unemployment. Im not getting much but thankfully i live with my parents and have no bills so i can't complain. Im so thankful for my parents. What sucked is that just like 2 months ago i was going to buy and 09 Mitsubushi Lancer. That would of sucked!!!!!! Now im just sitting here watching CSI. I hope im not as bored!

Last Day at Work

So Friday was a very emmotional day and busy day. We had to move and pack everything to Casablanca and enter everything into their system. A lot of the spa clients were really sad to see that we were closing. The thing that i will miss the most is my co-workers. You can't help but to be attached. The spa was my second home. I loved going to work. We had a great time. Everyone got along. At the end of work everyone gave each others e-mails and phone numbers to keep in touch. I know we will keep in touch. I hope we will re-open!

Jobless

So many of you know that the Oasis casino has closed down. Myself and 500 other people are jobless. It sucks. I dont know what im going to do. I will file for unemployment but it is going to take forever to find a job!!!!! Im still going to mexico hopefully for about a week. I had already had my days off and everything. The spa is becoming and emotional mess. We cry all the time. The spa was my second home, my friends were there and you cant help but to get attached to the people. It sucks. It quite hasn't sunk in. But friday when we close it will have sunken in to the bottom on my heart. I will be a complete mess. So hopefully they will reopen soon.
